Moms, we work hard, we have already established that. Most days it seems the days just fly by and before we know it the babies we were taking care of are no longer babies. Sure memories last but sometimes we need something more than our faulty memory to capture those special moments.
In this giveaway, one of you will get a chance to capture those special family moments with this Canon PowerShot SD1200IS 10 MP Digital Camera.

My favorite family moment is when my two sons (ages 4 and 2 at the time) met their baby sister for the first time.
Wow! This is awesome!
My fave family moment is when all of us four go the park. It is where everyone’s having fun. My 8-month old enjoying the air on her face while on the baby swing. My 5-yr old son, having the time of his life biking, my husband jogs while following our boy. And me, enjoying every picture of what I’m seeing. 🙂
Some of our favorite moments are looking through photo albums with our 3 yr old and 18 mos old. I have inexpensive albums printed immediately after a fun outing. They love to see themselves and their cousins and we remember how much fun we had on our adventure.
I’m a “liker” on Facebook.
Probably my most favorite family memories have been trips to california, disneyland and the beach!
Do I really just have to choose one? Well, I guess my favorite moment would be look on my kids faces when I told them that we are moving to a safer neighborhood (out of the ghetto) where they can play outside EVERYDAY barefoot. You would have thought we won the lottery with all the tears and hugs. It is a moment and feeling I will never forget.
When we all take a trip to Disney World.
My favorite family moment is when we get the 27 of us all together every year to go to O.C. New Jersey. My grandparents pay for 3 houses and we all are together for every meal. We get to see each other only this one time every year and have such a memorable time. We come from LA, KS, IN,and PA.
My favorite family moment was our trip to the Texas coast a few years back. We swam and swam, ate good food, and just enjoyed one another.
My memorable family picture was when my daughter was selling her Pig at our county fair. This was her first year and she was very attached to her animal and she was having a hard time having to sell her pig “Emma”. I got a picture at fair with her laying in the pen with her pig and she was laying on Emma’s stomach and she was sleeping. It is a dear picture and brings joy to her when she see it!
My favorite family moments are at dinner when we just laugh and talk about our days. I know that as my kids grow these moments won’t always happen so I cherish them now while they’re 4, 7, 8 and9…
Probably our best and memorable trip so far was a mission trip to Peru as a family a few years ago. The kids got to see that there really are kids who don’t have a Wii or other electronic portable device and who sometimes don’t have enough to eat every day. It changed the way they see life.
My favorite family moment is when my parents come to visit each year from Venezuela. We enjoy ecah other company so much.! It’s sad for me to to have them closer but try to make the most of it when they are here…:)
My favorite family photo is all of us at the airport in VN. 🙂

So many to choose from but I would say seeing my little sister give birth for the first time. I was in the room with her and I didn’t have kids yet myself and never wanted to but the love that I felt that day made me want to have kids myself.
My favorite family time is when we read our bedtime stories and then we rock for a few minutes, say our prayers and go night night. I love these precious , cuddling moments with my girls.
This past weekend, when my parents and aunt and uncle were able to travel to our home to celebrate our twins’ 3rd birthday! Thank you for the great giveaway!
My favorite would probably just be hearing my 2 year old and 1 year sitting in front of one another and for no reason at all just laugh so hard they get the hick ups! (and of course they continue to laugh while having the hick ups)
I am 5 months pregnant and my 22 month old will rub my belly and say baby.

My favorite family moment is when my son asks us to tell him about when he was born. He’s almost 10 yrs. old now and still asks 2-3 times a year for the story. I tell him my memories and my husband tells him his. Some are the same, some aren’t. We tell about the family who came to visit him in the hospital and when he first got home. He absolutely loves to hear it.

If only I had a picture of the girls faces when I pranked them on April Fools. I told them that HGTV was coming to interview us for a chance to be on Extreme Home MakeOver! A series of pictures throughout the 12 hour prank would have been priceless! Unfortunately, they were not able to stay home to clean (jobs) and the boys didn’t fall for it even though they were able to be at home to clean! I was hoping for a clean house on the following day: “Good Friday”. LOL!

My favorite family moment (so far!) was going hiking with my hubby and our four kids. We put the twins in backpacks and the big kids (10 and 11) were such troopers! We followed the river and found a huge set of caves to explore! The trees were gigantic and my kids became “tree huggers” for a photo op… LOL Their little arms couldn’t even come close to fitting around the huge cedar!
My favorite family moment is hiking together.
Every other year my Grandpa takes 30 of his family members (his 6 kids and their spouses and children) on a vacation. We have been to Alaska, Mexico, and Canada so far. Favorite family moment::: my birthday 3 weeks ago, backyard Barbeque just hot dogs and chicken on a hibachi. It was the four of us, nothing special, but just pure pleasure of being around my two daughters and husband. My daughters asked me what I wanted as a gift for my birthday and all I asked for was a single family photo of the four of us. Lisa my youngest placed our camera on rocks, gravel, and a brick wall and set the timer on the camera. We all made a run for it…it was hilarious!!! Then we squeezed ourselves together my husband, two daughters and I. The picture came out great; I cried… and had a good laugh too, it was probably one of the best birthdays I’ve ever had in a long time : )
I love just watching my kids interact with each other or with their dad. It’s fun to watch the boys loving on each other in a “wrestling” way but without the aggressiveness.

My fave family moment was after I came home from the hospital with child number 2. She was fussy and my husband was rocking her in the recliner with our son. I went into the kitchen to get dinner ready. When I came back , all three had fallen asleep in the chair together, not even waking when I took a pic. What was funniest was they all had their heads tilted to one side.
We just had a baby girl on Christmas Eve. Some of my favorite moments are with our whole family sitting together. The especially cute pictures are of my 5 year old son holding the baby. 🙂
My favorite family moment is when my husband and I snuggle with our 9 month old son in our bed on weekend mornings. His favorite time of day is when he wakes up.
My favorite family moment was when my husband brought our daughter (21 mo. old) to the hospital to meet her new baby brother! She was very tentative and sweet and shy (which is totally opposite her personality, except for the sweet part!). It was just an amazing time for the 4 of us. 🙂
My favorite family moments seem to happen just before bedtime. We go into the playroom to make sure it’s all cleaned up. Then the four of us always wind up playing on the empty floor. There is lots of giggling, kiddos flying on our feet and bouncing around.

When my oldest child looked at me after my youngest child was placed in my arms, placed her little 3 year old hand on her new sister’s back, looked into her new sister’s scared little face (both of my children were born in and adopted from China) and ask me – “is this my new sister, is this my Baby E?” When I told her yes, she said “We have to sing her our song, mommy, we have to sing her the moon song”. So together, standing there in the middle of a cold, crowded room full of new parents and screaming babies, my oldest daughter and I sang to the newest member of our family the song that I had sung waiting for my oldest, and then my oldest and I had sung waiting for my youngest. It was a good thing my mom was there and knew the song, because I got about half way through it and started crying. That was when I realized that I was mom to 2 precious miracles and that God had led through all the trials of getting there just so that I would be prepared to be their parent.

One of my favorite family memories is the tents my mom use to make for us under the kitchen table. She would pull out the benches, and throw a huge blanket over the top. We would crawl under with flashlights and read and play and she would crawl in the “tent” with us. Even when we got older, we would ask to have our friends sleep over under our kitchen table. My mom still has that table and eats her breakfast at it each morning. Whenever I visit, and I sit down next to her, I can’t help but smile and picture the love and laughter we shared . . .under the kitchen table. 🙂

I just made a favorite lasting family memory this past month. After much saving I was beginning to wonder if I would ever get to take my child to Disney as he is almost grown.
He is 16 and at 45 I had never been either. This last month we were able to go and I was not sure if he would enjoy it, if we had waited too late.
Upon entering the park you find you are 5 again immediately. Walking through the park and having him reach out to take my hand brought tears to my eyes and makes me cry even now. Soon he will fly the nest but hopefully never be too old to hold his moms hand.
I will cherish this moment for the rest of my life :o)

She was sitting in the hospital chair like a “big girl” and we snapped the picture at just the right time where she is staring up at him in amazement, holding her arms out to be able to hold him. This was back before digital cameras were around and we were so lucky to get this shot! 🙂

My favorite moment was about 12 Christmases ago. My then 4 y.o. daughter wanted a pink “bite.” (pink, streamers, GIRLIE bike). We got it for her, but we hid it in the basement so she would open her other presents first. When she got done with the presents upstairs and there was no bike, her brother apologized, “I am sorry you didn’t get the bike, Em.” He looked at us, like “she only wanted one thing and you didn’t get it!” Then my dh told them that we had one more surprise downstairs and she was about halfway down when she saw it and she just plunked down on the stairs in her footie pajamas and stared for about 5 minutes. She could not believe it. Her jaw is dropped and the look is priceless. We all remember that Christmas as the best one ever!

My favorite family moment is when we pack up the suburan and go to the mountians for the day. We never plan ahead which way we will go and it has lead to some great memories for our kids. I have the photo of my Great Grandma, Grandma, Mother, me, and the kids sitting above my desk so that my kids will forever remember the moment as well.

Some of my favorite family moments have been when we play Tripoly. We ONLY play altogether. When we finally do play, which is about once a year, we play for hours, starting around 7-8pm and normally ending around 1am.
We don’t play for cash. We have a jar of pennies that sits on top of my mom’s refrigerator that we use. We buy candy and $5 giftcards to places like Jamba Juice and Starbucks as prizes to be won (if anyone knows how to play Tripoly, we normally play until someone hits both the 8, 9, 10 and the Queen/King).

It was one of those cold, dreary January days in Wisconsin. I was upstairs putting laundry away when I could hear my 4 and 2 year laughing loudly downstairs. In less than the 5 minute they had been out of my sight, they had poured glasses of water all over the tile kitchen flour, stripped down to nothing, and were doing naked water slides across my kitchen floor. That vision will be etched in my memory long past their adult years.

My kids are now grown, but when they were younger, my three daughters somehow talked their brother into playing “The Pretty, Pretty Princess Game.” Before long, he was winning and as a result had to wear rings, necklaces and a crown. I snapped a picture. It was hysterical. It was our favorite picture, but unfortunately shortly after that, the photo came up missing. The girls had threatened to blackmail him with it someday, so my suspicion is that he hid it somewhere. It never has shown up.

My oldest son, Brett, was 4 1/2 when his twin brothers were born. He hated them and even made me cry in the hospital because he said, “I will not sit with you while you are holding THEM!” Years have past… Brett is now going to be 11 in a month and his brothers are 6 1/2… he still dislikes them he says… they are annoying he says. But… every once in a while you’ll catch him being nice… helping them play a game or wrestling on the floor or just sitting on the couch together giggling like crazy… THOSE moments are my favorite. I just sit and watch them with a smile on my face. I don’t run to take pictures or make myself noticed. The minute I do they all disbane and do their own thing. One memorable time was when we went to Disney a few years back. My two children were young teens at the time. It truly was “magical”. We are looking forward to the day when we can go again!
Wow… it’s really hard to pick one favorite moment… I’d have to say that taking my son outside is definitely one of my favorites. His smile is never bigger than when he’s outside drawing with sidewalk chalk, or playing t-ball, or chasing his daddy around. And, I get the best pictures of him at that time since natural lighting always looks perfect in his eyes.
Thanks for the entry!

My favorite moment is when my husband, my son and I go out to feed the deer.
I love family trips, especially unexpected ones!
My favorite family moments are when I get to play at home with my two young boys (4 and 2). Sometimes we pretend to be animals, or march and dance around to music, or have a “picnic” on the living room floor. Weekend family time is the best!

morning hugs with my girls
My favorite family moment is when we are all home together and everyone is well behaved and quiet. Oh, wait… you didn’t ask for my favorite dream. 🙂 Still my favorite family moment is anytime I can spend time at home with my family uninterrupted.

Favorite Family Moment: Watching the Christmas Light Boat Parade each year. We picnic out, waiting for it to come by, and the weather is cool (much appreciated in FL)! Simple and wholesome good times!
My favorite family moment was our trip across the Northern US and Canada when I was in high school. The entire family (four kids, plus Mom and Dad) piled into the motorhome and spent a month on the road. It was the best trip of my life – we still talk about it.
Thanks for the contest – Canon Cameras are the best. I have a five year old Canon and I still love it. Nice crisp photos.
Good luck everyone!
Recently, my 3.5 yr old and my 1 yr old have been playing together. It is so sweet to watch them interact and laugh together. These are my favorite moments right now. Thank you for this giveaway.
My favorite memories are being at the beach.
I don’t think I entered earlier, but if this is a duplicate, forgive me.

This would be great for the grandkids.
My favorite family moments are childhood memories of vacations where kind of acted normal lol. Rest of the time it seemed like it was run, run, run. Seemed me and my brothers stuck together more as we knew no one else. We got to go out by ourselves for a little while, when older and things were better at home.

I loved when my husband and I took our kids to an amusement park. My 3 year old loved all of the rides and even my 18 month old got to go on some and loved it.
