The Walgreens ad for this week has the following offer for this week:
Buy three Children’s Tylenol or Motrin 4oz for $4.99 each and get a $5 Register Reward back.
If you buy Tylenol your transaction would look like this:
$14.97 three Children’s Tylenol
-4.5 $1.5/1 Easysaver Coupon applied to the order
-3 one $3 off three manufacturer coupon from 9/14 inserts or use 3 of the 1/1 IP here
= $7.47 out of pocket
And you get $5 Register Reward and here’s the kicker: you also get a $2 Register Reward. This weekly register reward offer is double dipping with another register reward offer. I will try calling the Catalina Company to find out what triggers the $2 RR tomorrow.
Warning though: I did this deal using a $5 off three manufacturer coupon that was in my grocery store’s sales flyer. The $5 RR did NOT print. I think the way the manufacturer coupon is coded is similar to the one for the Register Reward so the register thinks you are “rolling” this offer. So if you want to get you $5 and $2 register rewards do not use the $5 off three manufacturer coupon.
Happy Savings!
