Have you ever had a crummy experience when you buy a product? Maybe you bought a shirt that fell apart quickly, maybe you bought diapers that leaked, etc. What do you do when this happens?
I recently bought a pack of LUVS diapers for my toddler. I have three kids and LUVS have always worked well for them. This time though, was different. Out of the pack of 24 diapers, literally 15 of them leaked. The problem was that I always come home and take diapers out of the pack and put them straight into the diaper drawer, so I no longer had the package to even return them. So, what should I do?
Well, I decided to hop onto the LUVS website and decided to click the chat button and explained my issue. I spent not more than 3 minute on chat and they were getting my information and sent me an $8 pre-paid VISA card for my troubles and to use toward the purchase of a new pack of diapers. Since I didn’t have the packaging, I wouldn’t have been able to return them anyway so I was more than happy with this resolution.
What To Do If You Have A Bad Experience With A Product
So, if you find yourself unhappy with a product, but cannot return it for one reason or another, I highly recommend taking the following steps:
- Go to the company website and get the customer service phone number or click on chat
- Nicely explain your issue
I would bet that more often than not you will have a good experience. Companies want to retain their customers and are more than likely willing to help you.
