In an effort to keep Starbucks from hurting my family budget, I went on a search to find a way to “earn” my Starbucks. I found an app for my iPhone (also works with Blackberry or Android) that I can use to earn money. Here is how it works:
- Sign up for WeReward online
- Once you have your account set up, download it on your SmartPhone and log in
- You will take pictures with your purchases at stores (you holding the bag, so logo shows)
- You will earn approximately $0.50 each time you do this. You can do this every 15 minutes. Some stores do not require you to be in the picture, but are only worth $0.10. Once your account adds up to $10, you can cash out via paypal.
What I love is that I can use my Paypal account to reload my Starbucks giftcard. Therefore never taking away from my family budget. (And Starbucks is on WeReward, earning me another $0.50 per drink/photo I take!)
When you sign up online, it will say that it needs your SSN#, but to date I have earned over $80 and it has not asked for it. You will need to connect it with your Facebook, Twitter, or Foursquare…although you do NOT have to share to any of these. There is also Product opportunities that will earn you points (or money!). There is one today for a Snickers bar. Simply take a picture of yourself eating a Snickers bar and earn 20 points (or 20 cents).
And last but not least…you can refer your friends and you will earn a 10% bonus off each of your friends who signs up thru your link and checks in! Super Easy!
