Walmart through their Money Saving Mom contest is giving away not one but TEN $6,000 Walmart Gift Cards. All you need to do is submit your own money saving tip video. The 20 most viewed videos will then be selected and voted on to pick the ten Grand Prize winners. The other ten runner ups will win a Flip Video Camera.
Here are some things you may want to consider when making your own video:
- Be yourself: Viewers want to see the human side of other people. Don’t be afraid to let your personality shine through.
- Make it Relevant, Make it Simple, Make it Quick: Quick and simple tips resonate with people because they feel that it is something that they can implement easily.
- Speak Slowly: I know I just told you to make it quick but people need to understand and assimilate your message. If you speak too fast you won’t give your viewers a chance to process what you are saying.
- Practice: Have you ever tried making a “scripted” video? It’s fun but it will probably take more than one shot. It’s fun though, so you will probably enjoy any time spent making this video.
