UPDATE 10/22/07: I just wanted to give the heads up that apparently for the coupon to work you need to get candy that’s not on sale. I haven’t tried using it yet, but will try tomorrow and will report back. Because I also hear that there’s been little communication between corporate and the stores regarding this coupon.
UPDATE 10/23/07: I went in tonight with my one coupon, grabbed a bag (there’s a list on the coupon) that was not on sale (still $2.79, max value for coupon) and had no problems at checkout. I do hear a lot of problems are from people who might be abusing the coupon. I did read a story from someone who went in to get 140 bags!! all at once!! No wonder, right?
PS. I just checked my receipt and candy WAS on sale 2/$4. So, I guess it doesn’t matter whether candy is on sale or not.
