My family is not a big football family. Personally I am more of a College Football person (Geaux Tigers!). I can’t recall the last time we watched the Super Bowl, not even the commercials. But I know football is HUGE for so many of you. And a bunch of you will probably have people over for the big day.

This is a tough love situation for me this year! I went to Purdue during the Drew Brees years and have followed him since. I think he is an awesome person on the field and off. Colts all the way! I grew up in Indy, even before we had a team. And the team is just plain humble about everything. Dungy was amazing and Caldwell follows in his footsteps. And to top it off, I found out today that one of the players is a die hard thrift shop junkie!!! To this day, he loves a good bargain at the store or on ebay 🙂 Makes me love’em even more than I already do. 🙂

My favorite team is the Minnesota Vikings (even though I live in Dallas, the home of the Cowboys)! I love them because I’m from MN originally and because my grandparents are SO HAPPY when they win. They were eliminated last week in the playoffs, so I’m rooting for New Orleans, because, seriously, they could use a win down there in the Big Easy.
I love the Chiefs even though they never win. I’m rooting for Payton all the way on Sunday!

Rooting for the Colts but won’t be able to watch it unless a friend invites us over. We don’t get any channels. Cable will come as a reward to ourselves when we are debt free in 2012!!!
