There are two big reasons I love Thanksgiving. First, because it is a time for get togethers. I come from a big family where togetherness was always fostered. As a result, I always welcome chances to mingle with those I love. Second, because of the food. There is no other Holiday my husband and I look forward more than Thanksgiving.
What I enjoy about cooking a good Thanksgiving dinner is that it gives me an opportunity to try new recipes. But it also gives me an opportunity to cook those traditional dishes my family looks forward to every year. No Thanksgiving dinner would be complete without a good roasted turkey, a nice stuffing and a delicious green bean casserole of course! A great source for help with my Thanksgiving menu is the Campbell’s Kitchen website. They have compiled a nice collection of Thanksgiving recipes. I also find their $10 and under recipe ideas very useful.
I want you to wow your family by preparing a memorable holiday meal with the help from Campbell’s. I have FIVE Campbell’s Holiday Gift baskets to give away.
These baskets contain:
one Campbell’s Cooking Companion Campbells Holiday recipe guide,
one Campbell’s Recipe Card Collection,
one Ceramic Casserole Dish,
two cans of Del Monte Cut Green Beans,
one can French’s french fried onions,
one can Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom and
one apron.
All of this inside a beautiful woven basket. Here is a picture to help you get a visual.
This is what you need to do to get a chance to win one of these baskets: leave me a comment sharing how you use Campbell’s soups to create meals besides serving it as soup.
Don’t forget to leave your name and email address or other way for me to contact you. For an extra entry, blog about this giveaway and come back and leave me a comment with a link to your post. This contest ends Saturday 11/22 at 10 AM. At that time I will pick five winners using Random.org.
Good luck!

I just take one can of Campbells cream of mushroom soup (you could use cream of chicken or whatever you choose).
I empty to can into a saucepan and heat the soup to boiling.
You don’t want to burn the soup so as soon as it begins to boil pour in one can of minute rice. (Use the same can to measure the rice.)
Put a lid on the pan and set it aside.
In five minutes you have a yummy creamy rice side-dish to go with your main course.
YUM!!!

One of my favorite dishes ever is from my childhood… my mom always made this for us & now I make it for my children. I brown 1-2 lbs of ground meat, seasoned just right, along with some diced up onions (kids don't even know they're in there!)… slice potatoes & line a casserole dish with the potatoes. Then put the meat mixture on top, then another layer of potatoes… you can make as many layers as you would like. Then to top it off, I heat a can of Campbell's Cheddar Cheese soup with a cup of milk & pour over top of meat/potato layers. Bake in the oven until done & voila! It is so incredibly tasty!!!!

I use campbells soup to make a delicious chicken wild rice soup and also I will buy the round steaks and cut them up in nice size pieces but not too big and brown them in a pan first then I put it in a dutch oven or baking pan with a couple cans of cream of mushroom soup and the beef comes out nice and tender, you have a mushroom gravy to put on potatoes. YUMMY!:-)

I love to use cream of mushroom soup in my hashbrowns.

All of the “cream of…” soups are my favorite for adding flavor and moisture to casseroles. The cream of mushroom soup is my favorite to use. It’s also a great way to sneak in vegetables!!
I love making meals with either Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom or Cream of Chicken Soup. I have several recipes that use these, but I think my two favorite are Special Delivery Chicken and Hashbrown casserole. Special Delivery Chicken uses cream of chicken, soup cream, poppy seeds, 2 cups of cooked chicken cut tp and crushed ritz crackers on top. Hashbrown casserole uses cream of chicken soup, hashbrowns, onion, sour cream, cheddar cheese and crushed cornflakes on top. These are both rich, so I don’t make them all the time, but they are so yummy!
We love French Chicken Casserole made with Cream of Mushroom soup!

Growing up one of my favorites meals was made with Campbell’s cream of mushroom soup. I still love this meal today and my kids even love it. Fry little steaks in the fry pan, after they are cook all the way put in the cream of mushroom soup. Serve with mashed potatoes, use the soup as gravy on the potatoes. Mmmm Good.
Thanksgiving is not thanksgiving without the green bean casserole using campbell cream of mushroom soup! I have made this for my family for the past 25 years!
Besides the greenbean casserold for the holidays I use campbells soups all year for casseroles that I concoct with for cheap dinners.

My husband and I after we began dating and even after we were married go to restaurants and each buy a different meal. If we liked the meal I would go home and try to copy cat that meal. One of our favorite meals Rigatoni Pollo uses both cream of chicken and cream of mushroom (if I don’t have one of them on hand any cream of soup will do).
I pour a can of Campbell’s Chunky (usually I choose one that’s very thick and creamy) into a casserole dish, then arrange large dollops of biscuit mix on top and bake it in the oven until the biscuits are done. The biscuits absorb some of the flavor from the soup and are so delicious. Spoon onto a plate and enjoy!
For quick dinners, I’ll cook chicken thighs (right from the freezer) in a pan and then add Campbell’s cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup. I’ve even made chicken pot pie using the cream of mushroom soup and pie crust.
This sounds great. I use the Campbells Cream Soups (mostly chicken or cheese) often in my crock pot recipes. I have a great one for crock pot Ranch chicken.

I love the cream of mushroom soup when baking chicken cordonbleu, just slice the chicken breast very thin and place ham and the cheese of your choice roll and secure with a tooth pick or two. place them in a dish pour the cream of mushroom ontop and around the edges to cover, then bake…ummm!

I come from a family of great southern chefs. It has been my pride & joy to copy & exceed my mother's & grandmother's techniques. But, there was one (of a few) dish that I just could not duplicate – her dressing (stuffing for you northerners) for Thanksgiving dinner. I thought that I had keenly observed her; I copied every ingredient. I called her to confirm what I was doing. But, every year, it tasted somewhat like hers, it was drier than hers, it was missing something ~ utter disaster! I was so deflated. Finally, one year when I called to confirm the receipe after a taste-kinda-like-hers-but-extremely-dry experience. She asked, "did oyou add the Campbell's soup" (long dramatic pause)? "What soup?", I asked. "Any one", she replied, "cream of chicken, cream of celery, cream of onion, chicken and rice" (her personal favorite she quoted). That woman NEVER, in 5 years, mentioned the soup. In fact, when I watched her, she MUST have added the soup after I left the kitchen! Lo and behold, THAT was the secret, the CAMPBELL'S SOUP! Success!! And, today, I am being requested to market my dressing, frozen, at grocery stores because it so mimics the dressing that "mama USED to make"!
I love Campbell’s Healthy Choice Cream of Mushroom soup. I use it in so many recipes, but everyone’s favorite is the yummy Green Bean Casserole.
I use Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom Soup in a delicious Chicken Enchilada Casserole Recipe – combine soup with sour cream, mix in chopped chicken and onions and canned tomatoes and chilies and layer the mixture in between flour tortillas. Top with shredded cheese and bake. Mmm-mmm!

I use cream of chicken Campell’s soup mixed with 1 tub of sour cream. Then I cube up 2 cups of leftover chicken, and make 1 box of stuffing. The chicken and Campbell’s soup mix gets mixed up and put in a casserole dish topped with the stuffing. This makes a delicious casserole!
Thanks for the chance to win.
