But this year my husband doesn’t have to worry about his feet getting cold when he is out cleaning the driveway, thanks to reader Teresa. The socks are made of Alpaca fiber a hollow fiber which keeps you warm in extreme cold even if your feet are wet, they are softer than cashmere and warmer than wool but unlike wool it doesn’t itch. The socks have NO DYE, no allergens, and are thick but comfy; they are extremely soft in the inside. They are machine washable and tumble or line dry.

Edited to add: Teresa has brought to my attention that these socks may not be the best for diabetics. These are normal everyday socks, diabetics should ONLY wear nonbinding diabetic socks. This is something every diabetic knows but their families may not. Please be aware of this if you are thinking of giving these for use by a diabetic. Thank you!
