I just wanted to update you on the catalina deal going on at Kmart and how it worked for me today. I did just get back from my store where I did the following two transactions:
$49.95 five Huggies Jumbo packs
$2.99 one tub of wipes
=$52.94
–$5 Kmart $5 off $50 coupon
-$15.00 (five $1.50/1 coupons doubled)
-$2 (one $1/1 coupon doubled)
=$30.94 plus tax out of pocket and I got a $14 off your next order catalina back
Then I pretty much did the same transaction but used the $14 catalina to lower my out of pocket expense. For the second transaction I paid $16.94 plus tax out of pocket and got another $14 catalina back. In total I paid around $40 for ten packs of diapers and two tubs of wipes or around $4 per pack after coupons and catalina. Once I submit for The Caregivers Marketplace rebate, it’s like paying $3.25 per pack. I’ll be honest and say that this is more than I would pay for diapers. BUT I am very well stocked on diapers and I have set a price of $2 to pay per pack of diapers. However, if you do not have the type of stockpile of diapers that I have, this is a very good price to pay.
In conclusion, the catalina prints even when using coupons and even when using the catalina in your next purchase to buy more diapers. This promotion was tagged all over my store and again the effective dates where from 5/31 to 7/13.
