Are you a fan of Ranch Dressing? If so, that doesn’t come as a big surprise to me, because most people are. I’m a huge fan of Ranch Dressing and love it on practically anything. For instance, my husband absolutely loves to drown his French fries with ketchup, but I would prefer to dip them in Ranch. Don’t get me wrong, I certainly enjoy ketchup from time to time, as well, but I’m mostly a Ranch kind of person.
Buying Ranch Dressing is something that’s really easy to do, but it can be fairly expensive. As a frugal person, I know that when you’re able to make your own dressings and seasonings from scratch, you’ll be able to save a ton of cash. Also, I personally think that making things from scratch simply tastes better, as well. I mean, I think my homemade Ranch Dressing tastes better than the stuff that you would buy at the store. Also, by making your own stuff at home, you get certain satisfaction out of knowing that you put in the hard work to make something so delicious.
The Ranch Dressing recipe I’m going to post below is excellent for whenever you would like to have enough dressing to last you a whole week or even longer. My husband also puts in a request for me to make this dressing whenever he’s having some friends over to watch Football or any other sports. This recipe works just as well if you’re making it for the family’s meals during the week, though. Just stick it in the refrigerator and it will last for quite a while.
So, are you ready to get started on this homemade Ranch Dressing recipe? Scroll down and I’m going to give you a list of ingredients, as well as the directions you’ll need to follow.
List of Ingredients:
- 2 TBSP of Parsley
- 1 TBSP of Onion Flakes
- 1 TSP of Salt
- 2 TSP of Black Pepper (I personally like to use fresh black pepper)
- 2 TSP of Onion Powder
- 2 TSP of Garlic Powder
- 1 and 1/2 Cups of Mayonnaise
- Milk 1 and 1/2 Cups of Milk
Directions:
Now, you’ll want to combine all these ingredients together in a large mixing bowl. Make sure you stir everything up very well, allowing all of the ingredients to combine. Once you’re finished, you’ll have enough Ranch Dressing to easily last you for the whole week or for the big game on Sunday. Always remember to keep your Ranch Dressing covered and stored in the refrigerator when it’s not in use.
As I said above, I absolutely love smothering some of my food in Ranch Dressing, but my kids love to do this, as well. At dinner, I’ll usually give them each some Ranch Dressing, because I give them vegetables at every dinner and they like to dip their veggies in the dressing. In other words, this is the best way I’ve found to make sure that they’re eating their vegetables that I put on their plate.
