My most recent great deal was actually not one I was expecting. My mom and I went to Coldwater Creek on my birthday. They had an in store special that was 35% off everything in the store and a continental breakfast table. We spent forever laughing it up in a shared dressing room. When we got to the register the sales clerk offered us an additional 20% to open a charge card. Something didn’t work quite right with the two offers and so she simply gave us a 55% off discount on all merchandise.
Sometimes the best deals are due to great customer service! {Now imagine if I had combined that with a $50 for $25 Groupon!}

Hmmm, not major, but a big deal for me. I only use Cotonelle toilet tissue, and during the black Friday sale @ Rite-Aid, I was able to score the 4 packs for .88 cents after the 1 up reward. That made a case that I usually pay about 6.99 for (on sale) only $2.64…FOR A CASE! I was definately a happy camper this weekend. I was able to score 3 cases total for under $10.00 and got $9 back in up rewards! 🙂 🙂 🙂

My best deals recently were at Walgreen’s on Saturday. I got over $50 worth of products including some things for Christmas paying $1.40 final out of pocket (after rebate). I didn’t do any other “Black Friday” shopping, but these deals I couldn’t pass up. My favorite was the overage items I got (by using the coupons with the free product items) to help pay for the Christmas gifts 🙂
This probably does not measure up to some of the great deals people will post but on Black Friday I scored 6 womens pajama sets for $40 by using the Target printable for $10 off 3 pairs combined with the 2-day sale price. The cashier let me use two coupons in one transaction. Regular price on the pajamas was $20 each set so I saved about $80.
I took advantage of the free 8×10 collage print at Walgreen’s last week. I created an adorable collage of my daughters playing outside.

The best deals I have gotten lately have been at Target and at Amazon. I purchased several things at Target like the TGI Friday frozen meals, B2G1free and used $2.00 coupons on each one. At Toys-R-Us I bought a Scrabble game Reg. price $16.50. It was on sale for $8.98, I used $5 off coupon, plus $3 off kid birthday GC and received a $3 mail in rebate. I am being paid $1.51 to take the game off the shelf.

My best deal was the rite-aid buy four cans of planters nuts get a $2 RR back for each can and a $5 RR for buying four-they ended up costing 75 cents each! It was a good deal for the holiday’s.
We have purchased several 12 pound turkeys recently at Meijers using the $9 off when you purchase $20 in other items. We just can’t resist when they are costing us around $4 total. We have 4 in the freezer now. We are going to smoke them for Christmas.

My grocery shopping last week for the Thanksgiving sale was great — both at Target and my regular grocery stores… got a turkey for about .44 a pount, boxes of potatoes and stuffing for a quarter or less (many will be donated to the food bank, too), cool whip, shredded cheese, and basic baking stuff for the holidays, such as yeast, sugar, etc… Great stockpile of items for cheap — and will be able to help the needy as the weather gets colder!

The best deal is one that I’m thankful for, although not necessarily the most slammin deal out there right now. I needed snowpants for my 1 yr old & have a restricted budget. I couldn’t find them anywhere at a price I could afford; but just when I was giving up, Old Navy had them on sale at half off with free shipping. Just in the price range I was looking for!
The best deals for me were Black Friday Rite Aid Deals…money maker peanuts, free deodorant, free toilet paper! The list goes on!

I scored a Coach cosmetic bag for $35 at Dillard’s and it was filled with Estee’ Lauder cosmetic items (over $200 value). I had to purchase Estee’ Lauder perfume, but the set was a better bargain than just the perfume alone. Because of a special promotion for applying for a Dillard’s card, we were able to save 10% on the total purchase price, and also score a $10 coupon to use throughout the store on any item. Limited exclusions! My final price was $93.58, but I had almost double that amount in savings and value just for the Coach cosmetic bag!

Not only was it 25% off and free shipping, but I also had scored a Sears Heroes at Home gift card for $50 because my husband is in the military (which allows you to use it at Sears, Lands End and a few others). I used 2 $5 off Qs and paid $1.77 (incl. tax), and they gave me back a $1 Jingle Cash! I got over $160 worth of Secret, Olay, other P&G products and the 11 toys for only $36 out of pocket!
