This week Walgreens has Right Guard body wash on sale buy one get one free. Plus in today’s newspaper inserts some of you got a coupon for buy one get one free Right Guard Body Wash. So, you are thinking: “BOGO Sale + BOGO coupon = two free, right?” Sadly the answer is maybe.
Unfortunately it all depends how the body wash is ringing at your store. At some Walgreens stores the body wash is ringing one at $4.99 and the next one at $0.00. BUT at other stores it it ringing:
- One at $4.49, the second at $0.50 or
- One at $2.49 and the second at $2.50
For those of you who have stores were the body wash is ringing as in the last two ways, you will probably not get free body wash. Why is this happening? It is just the way the sale has been programmed to ring at the register. So, don’t get mad at the cashier, since s/he is not the one who programmed it. You may have some luck talking to the assistant manager and see what s/he can do for you in this case.
In my opinion, this is sort of deceiving advertisement because those are not buy one get one free. That is more like buy one at $4.49 get the second one for 50 cents.
If you already tried to do this deal and had problems with the way the product rang at the register, let us know what happened.
Thanks for the update, Mashup Mom!
