I have Waring waffle maker like this (I am not 100% sure it is the same model) but it makes the absolute best, most delicious waffles, crispy if you want them or soft if you prefer them. I don’t regret spending the money I spent on that waffle maker. BTW, never make waffles from a baking mix. I have been using Alton Brown’s Basic Waffle recipe for years! No pancakes from a mix for us either. His pancake recipe is also the best.
